We have submitted our plans to the council and now we need your support.

We have now submitted a planning application to Canterbury City Council to modernise our London Road site. To support the progress of this application, we encourage you to add your voice by submitting your comments to the council. Sharing your views with the council genuinely makes a difference. Making a comment to the council really does make a difference as the councillors want to hear from you.

Why we need your support?

Our current buildings in Canterbury are aging, inefficient and disconnected, making it harder to provide the seamless, high-quality environment our patients, their loved ones, staff and volunteers deserve.

Our proposals will completely transform the environment. These improvements will ensure that our facilities reflect the outstanding care and support delivered every day.

Through our planning application, we aim to redevelop the site by demolishing and rebuilding the Main Hospice (located at the rear of the site), removing several outbuildings, and refurbishing the large Victorian properties that face onto London Road.
